Joey's House Is Finished!!!


Steve & Tamara Nelson were finalists for the Extreme Home Makeover program, but another family was chosen.  Joey is their 11 year old son and they live in Fair Grove with their other two sons, Dakota, and Stephen. 

Joey has Mitochondrial Encephalopathy.  This is a form of Muscular Dystrophy.  Joey's muscles do not have the strength to sustain physical activity for very long periods of time and needs to be in a wheelchair for periods of the day.The Family lived in a three bedroom single wide trailer; it would not accommodate Joey's needs.

proudly sponsored and teamed up with the community of Fair Grove to build this family a house better suited to Joey's needs.
